Knitting is often considered to be a solitary hobby - Worldwide Knit in Public Day is a celebration that encourages knitters to show their crafting talents in public and socialize with other knitters, crocheters and handcrafters so they can share knowledge, tips and ideas and have some fun. Keep an eye on this page for information on our event for the next Knit in Public Day coming up in June.
Donation Day! Our Donation Day, October 30, 2011, was a great success. Our members created enough projects, from afghans to mitts, during the past year to fill 26 large plastic bags with items! Thanks to everyone for your contributions. We had representatives from a number of our charitable causes present to pick up their donations, and had a chance to hear more about what they do and some of their success stories from the past year.
